As you know I’m not a morning person, so I’m all about the make-ahead breakfast. When I lived in Boston I heard about how to make overnight oats, and that was a real game changer for me. It’s the perfect healthy breakfast I can batch out for the week and simply just toss in my bag as I run out the door. What’s not to like?!
This is not my last easy recipe for Overnight Oats you’ll get – but a nice basic teaser, to get you rolled in ;o)

Overnight Oats with Chia Seeds
Mix all the ingredients in a Glass Jar (14-Ounce) with a lid.
If you don’t want to add chia, just don’t add as much milk.
You can mix any spices, sweeteners, or dried fruit you like into the oats and milk.
And you can use any milk, non-dairy milks or water to the oats.
Store in a glass jar or another airtight container and let the oats soak for at least three hours, ideally overnight.
In the morning, you can add fresh fruit, nuts, yogurt and other favorite toppings to your oatmeal.
Enjoy!
I like to make my overnight oats in individual serving–sized jars. But if you’re not going to take it to go, or if you’re feeding a crowd, you can easily make a big batch in a larger container to last a few days or to feed the whole family.
