A refreshingly ice cold Frosted Lemonade topped with whipped cream is my part four in “when a best friend gives you a lemon…”
A heat wave is passing us these days, and are there any better way to cool down, than with ice-cream and lemonade?! I think not!
And if you have only 2 minutes, you will soon be sitting outside, in your shady chair and smiling. In your hand you will have this Frosted Lemonade Milkshake and time will stand still.
This frosted lemonade is both a delish and smooth vanilla milkshake with a bit of sunshine added.
You are surely missing out on a totally tasty and refreshing frozen treat.
FROSTED LEMONADE
It is very, very easy to make this milkshake.
It requires only two ingredients and two minutes – and a blender.
Just add the lemonade and vanilla ice cream and blend for a minute or two.
Then pour it into a chilled glass and decorate with whipped cream if you like that.
Finally you add a straw, and go find that perfect spot in the shade – and enjoy!
Have a happy summer – and stay cool!
Did you know?
The first blender was invented in 1922 by Steven Poplawski, and that was also the year when milkshakes began to be made in their whipped, modern form as we know them today.
It was a Walgreens employee, Ivar “Pop” Coulson, that in 1922 in Chicago added vanilla ice cream to one of their usual malted milk drinks. By doing that he invented the first malted milkshake. Yay! Of course that drink got very popular and spread fast all over, and thats how it made it to be one of the most popular drinks.
Still today, Milkshakes are one of the most iconic American desserts.
