Ingredients: Empty vanilla pods; Sugar

Instead of throwing out the costly, empty vanilla pods, I store them in a glass with sugar.

In this way the pods gives it’s aroma to the sugar and the sugar also serves as preservation of the pods.

Every time you use the precious beans from the exclusive vanilla pods, save the empty pods.
Simply just stick your empty, used vanilla pods in a jar with sugar and close with a lid.
After a week you have the best tasting vanilla sugar.
When sugar is used, just refill with more sugar!
