Do you sometimes have the house full of playdates and think them kiddos needs a quiet break?? Then try to let them create a 3D hand drawing!
This is a trick for your eye, and it is really playing with your mind.Try it out and be surprised – It really works!
Every time we try this I get amazed. I sometimes don’t get how small lines can “come alive” when colors are added. Its like magic!
It’s surprisingly super easy to create and the end result always arouses great joy!
I suggest you start by making a fun cup of matcha infused bubble juice and maybe cut a slice of a freshly baked classic pound cake with vanilla while creating this drawing. It is so fantastic to see how their hands slowly are popping out of the paper!
I call it magic!
Try yourself and have fun!!!
3D hand – drawing
To begin with you start by placing your hand on a piece of paper.
Then you trace your hand by drawing a line around the hand and fingers.
Use a pencil to sketch this.
At the very end you need to erase the pencil lines – so don’t start by using a marker!
When your hand is traced to the paper you will use a marker to make the 3D effect.
Do that by drawing lines horizontally from left. When you reach the pencil line you curve the line inside the hand. After the curve inside the hand you end with another horizontally line towards the right side of the paper
Repeat, repeat, repeat…
When full of lines, you color inside.
For another look, use different colored markers instead of the black marker and you will get a rainbow 3D hand.
There’s endless of ways to make a 3D hand drawing.
Enjoy the process, and have fun!
