I love a good Trail Mix – and most often combine my own different mixes myself.
Nuts are packed with protein, fibre and essential fats and are a great resource of valuable vitamins and minerals. A golf ball-sized portion (about 30g) of unsalted nuts makes a vitality-boosting snack, so don’t feel guilty grabbing a handful of your own Trail Mix when you are on the go or just crave for a snack.
I like to choose my favorite nuts myself, because there is always one or two ingredients in the pre made ones, that I prefer less and always is left at the bottom of the jar when done.
This mix is one of my favorite Trail Mix!
Trail Mix
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Cashews
1/2 cup Almonds
1/2 cup Pistachios
1/2 cup Raisins
1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
Combine in a bowl.
Store in an air tight jar.
Enjoy!
