We eat a lot of yoghurt in this home. Both for breakfast or as a quick snack after school or in-between sports activities.
To vary the yoghurt a bit, we top it with what we have in the house of fresh fruit and granola.
This granola is one of our favorites – and it only takes 20 minutes in total to mix up.
2 cups of oatmeal
1/3 cup Wheat Germ
½ cup chopped almonds
1/3 cup brown sugar
¼ cup maple syrup
1/3 cup raisins
1/3 cup small chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Farenheit.
On a tray with baking paper you mix oatmeal, wheat germ, chopped almonds, brown sugar and syrup.
Bake in a pre-heated oven for 15 minutes – REMEMBER! To stir the mixture every 5th minute!
When the mixture has cooled, add raisins, and chocolate chips.
Store this glory in an airtight Container for up to a few weeks.
